Have you ever thought about how nice it is to go to your mailbox and find something other than bills and junk mail? One of my favorite things is to send cards and things to my brothers and sister that live in Wyoming. I try and send them for all the major holidays because they are so far away. When I married into my new family, I inherited several wonderful nieces and nephews. Mason, Sydney and Katie live in California. They have taken to sending us drawings and things that are so precious. Our refrigerator is the place of honor for these lovely gifts. It almost looks like we have kids of our own!
I know that email and instant messaging has taken over the world, but I don't want to ever underestimate the value of a tangible letter you get in the mail. Hooray for snail mail!

Making Bread
I love bread. I recently learned of a method of making bread that fits into my busy schedule. That is a feat to be sure. A coworker introduced me to to a book " Artisan Bread in 5 Min a Day." It has been rather fun for me to mix up a batch of dough and be able to just shove it in the fridge and use it when I want some. We have tried the regular bread, rosemary and thyme bread and vermont cheddar bread. So far so good! Next up to try is the sandwich bread, if that works out we won't have to buy bread at the store!!

The beginning
So I decided it was time to start a blog. I have to say I don' t know how interesting it will be or how well I will keep it up, but it is what it will be.
Jason and I have been married about 3 months and well... so far so good. It is a lot different than anything that I imagined, but so much better too. I am in school, my second semester in accounting, and I hope to be done as soon as possible. Jason works, he just started a new job at Bloosky and is loving it. He is learning a lot, and is proud of himself, as am I.
We have both been victims of the recent economic status, but are recovering well and in fact for the best. (Isn't it wonderful??!)
