Surgery

So I met with the surgeon today up in Salt Lake, and we scheduled my surgery for the 12th. I was really really nervous about going to my appointment today. I was really concerned that I wasn't going to like or be comfortable with the surgeon and that I would have to keep waiting to find someone else. Happily, Dr Anderson is really nice and I was comfortable with him right away. He didn't even mind when I pulled out the three pages of questions that I had typed up. After I asked everything, he even looked over the list to make sure we hadn't missed anything. I will be staying overnight in the hospital for observation, so hopefully all goes well. I will start my hormone replacement therapy that day and then I will follow up with my Endo to get the dosage right. We will know after the surgery and the pathology reports come back whether or not I will have to do the Radioactive Iodine to kill off any other cells remaining.
