Follow up

Well I went to see my surgeon this morning.... and yes I drove myself. :) He took off my steristrips and said that the incision looked fine. He explained that the lymphnode that tested positive had been stuck to my thyroid, an unusual finding. It didn't look enlarged at all, so the Dr was surprised to find that it was cancerous. This being the case it looks like we will be doing the RAI. I don't know when that will be since it wasn't in the original plan. I am waiting to hear from my endo when he gets back from Hawaii on the first.
